As we get older we can't always do what we used to do. Sound right to you? Well I started looking at the aspect or the quality of our lives. How you might ask? Well, have you ever been shopping and not made a big purchase because you can't get it in your car? Well, the more I looked at the problem the more came at me!
Ok so you can't get it in your care but you have friends right. Now there is a project! Getting your friends to the place where you made the purchase, picking it up (pickup), (delivery) transporting it without any issues, and then hauling it up into your apartment or house. Oh, now that it's there we open the beer for the friends and start a little party.
One time I purchased a new clothes washer and got my friends to help me. Just like in the above paragraph, we got it home and opened up the beer. We then decided to set it up and install it! Well I never saw such a mess in all my life! The boxing material was everywhere and well, I found out that plumbers do make house calls on Sunday! Installation doesn't go well with drunk freinds! Lesson learned but as I looked at the problem more I found other things too.

At this moment my friend scoffs at me and said “we can do it ourselves”! Well, he proceeded to take the legs off the piano (it was a grand piano), and what a mess. Well we made a few more calls to other friends. We finally got the piano into the new room. Now my friend has to learn how to patch all the tings and gouges in the walls, the bent banister plus other smashed things. Having a professional when you need them is priceless and a lesson one should only have to learn once.
I looked at these problems and thought where would you go for help on this? One place only not a horde of professionals but just one place. It didn’t exist. Then this happened about a week later…
Another friend of mine purchased a boat on the Internet. A great deal he said. The only issue was we had to go get it and my friend owns a prius. Now, not saying anything against a prius but it wasn’t made with a towing package. So, off again we went getting on the phone to see who has a truck with a tow ball on it. After about 3 hours we found one and made an appointment to go pick up the boat. Adventure underway!
But I will leave that for the next post! The short of it is that I formed Jiffy Wagon for this reason and more.. as you will see in the next blog post!
